Artistic Director / Utility Infielder
Trained at Gotham City Improv, Circle in the Square and the School of Uncomfortable Jostles (lacking the grades for the School of Hard Knocks), Alan has performed Off-Broadway and at regional theaters across the country. Past roles include Sipos in She Loves Me, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Sparky in Forever Plaid, Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Jane (yes, Jane) in The Mystery of Irma Vep. He is, however, proudest of his role as husband and dad.
A fan of radio theater since he was a kid, Alan is thrilled to keep that tradition going by writing. adapting, directing and performing in STP live shows. He has also mixed, built and banged sound effects for STP productions and as a sound effects artist and consultant.
Most nights, Alan can be found sitting by the phone, waiting for the call from Cooperstown.
General Manager
Gabrielle acted, sang and danced her way across the country, performing in NYC, regional and cabaret venues from Paper Mill Playhouse and Westchester Broadway Theatre to The Duplex and Memphis’ Playhouse on the Square; from Lola in Damn Yankees and Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain to Grace in Annie and several red herring drag queens in productions of La Cage Aux Folles.
Now a therapist and care consultant for older individuals and families mostly with dementia and MCI, "past lives" have included communications for nonprofits in education/healthcare/arts and supporting growing families through Music Together and Lucky Duck Infant Massage.
Favorite role by far: den mother to the STP crew.
Technical Director / Court Composer
Zach has trained, performed and expanded tech horizons at Vassar College, The Play Group Theatre and ARC Stages. A percussionist and composer, he wrote some of his earliest pieces for use in STP shows.
Although he now prefers playing drums in the pit for musicals and doing theater tech, he has sung the national anthem for the Mets at Citi Field with the Harmonaires and voiced a wide variety of characters in The Bling Cycle and A Christmas Carol (for which he originated the role of Tiny Tim when he was half-a-foot shorter and half-an-octave higher).
These days, Zach can often be found juggling fire for Vassar's Barefoot Fireflies.
His parents are both proud and terrified.
